Dr. Daniel and Patricia Juster's
Personal Update and Prayer

APRIL 2018

Greetings from Jerusalem.
Patty: We are so thankful for you!  Your prayers are so appreciated and we have no doubt that we are being sustained because of them.  We sense the pleasure of the Lord as we continue to minister here in Israel and we are in awe of his goodness and daily provision.

We all face challenges along our life journey.  Some face painful relational issues with their spouse or children, some face ongoing physical challenges, some financial and others seek to overcome emotional wounds.  In all these trials, our main source of comfort and strength is found in the presence of God.  We cannot control many of the painful situations we are in, but we can choose to draw near to God in intimate fellowship.  How amazing to reflect on the powerful reality that the Spirit of God dwells within us and experiences everything we experience.  No other human has that ability to get on the inside of us and to know our every thought and emotion.  Truly, the Holy Spirit is our comforter and we have the promise in God’s Word that he will never leave us nor forsake us.  Again and again God admonishes us that we are not to fear because he is with us.  Don’t we all remember how when we were children and were scared at night, we would run into our parents’ room?  Somehow, being in their presence brought peace to our soul.  So, in these days, Dan and I are learning in a deeper way how to run into our Lord’s chamber to find grace and strength in our time of need.
Dan recently suffered from pancreatitis caused by small gall stones.  For about a week he was the sickest I had ever seen him.  He had to be hospitalized for a few days without food and water (just being nourished by IV) and now is at home waiting on a surgery date to have his gallbladder out.  He has been on a strict diet the last few weeks of very low fat.  The good news is that he has lost a lot of weight!  The surgeon is pressing hard to get the operating room freed up for April 16, otherwise his surgery will have to wait until the 25th.  And I have been facing bouts of pain from complicated migraines and back issues but recently I have been having some better days of greatly reduced pain!  God has been with us every step of the way and cheering us on.  In all of this, we are praising God as – in the midst of everything – we see the hand of God moving in our lives, the lives of our children and our grandchildren, and in our congregational community in Jerusalem, and the apostolic/prophetic network being birthed in the Land.  I will let Dan give you a progress report.

Dan: We have to note that though I was sick, breakthroughs were taking place in the ministries here.  First, the Israel connected leaders of 9 congregations and ministries gathered for prayer and fasting.  After this time together, they decided to really form the Israel five fold network and surprise of surprises, voted overwhelmingly to call it Tikkun Israel.  This is a dream come true and fits the vision and word given to Asher Intrater four years ago.  But there was another part of that vision that has been really hard to birth.
The week after the hospital, we had our Tikkun International 501C3 board meeting.  This is the largest organization that supports the ministries here and is based in America.   This meeting led to the finalization of the direction of Tikkun International.  We defined a Strategic Advisory Team that includes the 501C3 board members, plus others who do not want to serve on that board plus Israeli ministry leaders.  We established Tikkun Global which is to be supported by Tikkun International that includes the Tikkun Israel Network, the major ministries that came from the work of Eitan and Asher, the Tikkun America Network, Gateways Beyond, and Paul Wilbur ministries.  Tikkun International seeks to be a resource for all connected to Tikkun Global, to draw us all together, and finally to be the connecting point to those who share our vision and values.  We actually have our first leadership dialogue this May.  We consider these great victories.  We are also seeking to fund the America support office so that it can serve at much less cost to the Israel ministries, where expenses and challenges are so high.
Patty and I carry the desire to see Tikkun International funded at a much greater level while keeping up our personal support so that we are not a cost to Tikkun International.  I trust you all received the Tikkun International information.  Support for Restoration from Zion will also be given to the whole after our support is met.
The following week, our central Israel congregations, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, joined in a wonderful outreach conference that ignited many with faith for power in their witness!  And soon, we will be welcoming our newest grandchild into this world, probably by the time our newsletter reaches all of you.

Restoration From Zion is the International apostolic and equipping ministry of Daniel and Patricia Juster based in Jerusalem. The ministry purposes to form solid networks of leaders around the world to partner towards the restoration of five-fold ministry (Eph. 4:11-13), building up the body so that we can all advance the unity of faith for Israel and the Church.

Restoration From Zion is a ministry of Tikkun International, a family of several apostolic ministries led by leaders with deep historic covenant relationships and mutual accountability. In addition to many years of fruitful service in the Kingdom of God, the Tikkun International Board of Directors has had years of proven integrity in managing funds together and in each of their respective ministries. This includes audits, disclosure, and low administrative cost percentages that reflect our high standards of efficiency. For more information about Tikkun, please visit www.tikkuninternational.org.
