Personal Update and Prayer

Greetings from near Jerusalem.

DAN: First, we are grateful for the many that have continued to be supportive.  This is a time when your support is greatly needed, both in prayer and giving.

The COVID/Corona situation is taking a hard toll on many congregations and ministries both in Israel and around the world.  Our congregation is back to zoom meetings after some weeks of meeting in the park.  However, we have begun to meet regionally in parks in groups of twenty.  This has been such a blessing.  We long for the time when we are able to meet together in normal gatherings for worship and fellowship.

One of the hard issues now is transportation.  Our travel to the U.S. is still essential to the work of our congregations and for meeting new partners.  Our flights have been canceled until October.  Ben’s original flight with El Al that was scheduled to leave August 2 was cancelled. But they were able to book and fly on Delta instead.  This incurred an additional $7,000 in flight costs which was not budgeted. El Al won’t reimburse anyone for cancelled flights for many months as the airline is bankrupt and being reorganized.  Therefore, with less opportunity, we now have some higher costs and limited ability to raise funds abroad. The good news is that the family and three pets made it safely to Jacksonville, FL and are now recovering from many intense days of preparation and the actual flight.

Those of you that receive our letters regularly know that we are not a hyper fundraising oriented ministry.  We trust God to provide and to bring us wonderful partners.  You know that we have over 40 years of integrity in our senior team walking together.  I do think that this is a time for all to pray and to see if God is asking them to give a little extra this month, especially to help Ben and his family transition back to the States.  Of course, we understand that some of you may be in an even greater situation of challenge and stand with you for God’s favor and solutions.  However, if any can send something it will be so appreciated.  And let’s keep praying for this scourge to end.  Five months is long enough!

The challenges of moving across the ocean.
Saying goodbye to our dear family five years after they moved here
How our hearts feel after enjoying the wonderful gift of having our family together in Israel for five years

PATTY: Yes, I have taken this title from Jerry Miller’s soon to be published book.  Jerry and his wife Jo have been dear friends of ours for over forty years!  Both Dan and I have read a digital copy of this book and were deeply impressed by Jerry’s comprehensive understanding of grace, the grace that in the end is unreasonable.  Accessing and living in God’s grace is essential in order to thrive in today’s world of crumbling economic and social structures.  Jerry strongly reiterates again and again that this grace is entered into by faith and received by faith.  The reason so many of us fail to access this grace is because we try to figure it out, or try to find reasons why we deserve it.  Shame blinds the eyes of our hearts.

One of the repercussions of partaking of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is our incessant striving to understand everything, to assign good and evil to circumstances, feelings and even our assessment of God and others.  If something is deemed unreasonable we do not accept it and we judge God or others as being unfair and in the process we close our hearts.  Hence, our ability to receive God’s grace is weak because of our lack of trust/faith in God’s wisdom and his goodness.  Most of all, our unbelief in the unconditional nature of God’s love blinds us  But the Word states that this grace is beyond comprehension, as well as his peace which is beyond understanding and the resultant joy that becomes unspeakable.  God’s love is so abundant and rich that we need to be strengthened in the inner man through the Spirit in order to comprehend how wide, how long deep, how high it is. When the penny drops and we accept and receive this love, fear dissipates.

This time is the opportunity to dig deep into the Word, that which is eternal and cannot be shaken. We need to come to a deeper knowledge of God and our identity in him.  It is time to dig until we hit solid rock and from this place to build our lives so that the storms cannot destroy us.  When we see God for who he is and believe we are who he says we are, we can come boldly before his throne and believe that we will receive whatever we need to live this life.  His grace is an empowerment that enables us to go through the storms of life with peace and joy.  It is time that shame is broken off us and that we know our righteousness.  It is time to throw off our unreasonable efforts to understand good and evil, pain and suffering, and to come into the mysterious, wonderful arms of a loving God.  God is for us and not against us.  There is now no condemnation for those who are in the Messiah Yeshua (Romans 8:1).  Nothing will separate us from his love, so let us let go of any offenses we may have toward God and freely receive his grace by faith.

With Love,

The Justers

Holding on as long as we can
Covenant Partners
We encourage you to become a full covenant partner of Restoration form Zion  Our partners commit to prayer and regular giving (monthly is so helpful), so that our work outside the United States can be carried on.  The work of mentoring leaders, travelling to bring alignment to Messianic Jews and the streams of the Church, and helping to strengthen congregations is only possible because of those who regularly support us.  We ask that you would pray and ask the Spirit to show you if you are to become one of our Covenant Partners.  Then do let us know.

Restoration From Zion is the International apostolic and equipping ministry of Daniel and Patricia Juster based in Jerusalem. The ministry purposes to form solid networks of leaders around the world to partner towards the restoration of five-fold ministry (Eph. 4:11-13), building up the body so that we can all advance the unity of faith for Israel and the Church.

Restoration From Zion is a ministry under the apostolic covering of Tikkun Global, a family of several apostolic ministries led by leaders with deep historic covenant relationships and mutual accountability. In addition to many years of fruitful service in the Kingdom of God, the Tikkun International Board of Directors has had years of proven integrity in managing funds together and in each of their respective ministries. Currently, we have ongoing ministry work in Israel, mentoring, building up the body of the Messiah.  Dan functions as an elder at Ahavat Yeshua and Ben has moved to Jacksonville, FL, to take up the position of the president of Tikkun America

  • Continued abundance of provision for all our Tikkun related ministries in Israel and around the world

  • The right time for Dan and Patty to travel to the States
  • Continued health for Juster clan
  • Wisdom for how to go forward in Israel and the nations in restoring the economy and wisdom concerning whether to go forward with the annexation

I want to encourage all of you who receive our personal letter to sign up for Daniel Juster’s Official Page on Facebook.  You will receive many more updates and comments on immediate happenings, both in the news and in ministry.  All our books and reviews are also listed on this page.  Though I do browse through the comments on this page, there are far too many for personal responses, but I appreciate being able to keep you updated and know of your comments.
We want to thank you so much for your consistent support for our transition to Restoration from Zion, our ministry name as we continue to support all the work done in connection with the name Tikkun.  With your generous support, we are succeeding!
