Personal Update and Prayer

Greetings and Shalom! As the world continues to reel from increasing cases of COVID-19 and the United States searches for stability in the aftermath of a contested election, we continue to place our hope in the Lord. Though some may gain a following because they are skilled at being critical or in spreading fear, the greatest long-term influence comes from those who inspire hope. I encourage you to intentionally live as a person of hope -- this is possible in the midst of great trials because we know the foundation of our hope is Yeshua. We know the end of the story! We place our hope in HIS unfailing promises. We can also grow in hope as the body of believers joins together in focused prayer. Scores of nations are represented as believers contribute to unprecedented worldwide prayer events online. Nothing like this was possible even a decade ago. Let us rejoice that the bride is being made ready to receive her King! May you be filled with hope as you see the day of Yeshua's return draw nearer.

Arise and Shine

Last newsletter I wrote about some of the ramifications of Isaiah 59 where it speaks of truth having fallen in the streets and justice being driven back with righteousness standing at a distance. Today I feel compelled to highlight the first few verses of the next chapter, chapter 60:1-3

Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.

Now more than ever we need to be and act as those who are living in and from the light of God in the midst of such darkness. We need to wake up and to throw off our security blankets of comfort and apathy. God gave man the responsibility of governing this earth. We have been made in his image and were given the mandate to rule as he would rule, beginning with our own life and then expanding outward. If those who have been given the rightful authority to rule in this life become complacent then illegitimate authority will take control. The church has been given the authority to rule and reign in this age and she was given the keys to bind and loose. It is the only societal structure where it was said that the gates of hell would not prevail against it. However, if she abdicates her authority, a counterfeit society takes over parallel to the dynamic of Jezebel and Ahab. This is what has happened today. But that is about to change. The hour has come for us to wake up from our slumber. The night is almost over, and we are to put on our armor of light (Romans 13:8-14). Not only are we to use our spiritual weapons of warfare (thanksgiving, worship, prayer), but we are to love God and each other more and more. Love is the fulfillment of the law as love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore, "the fruit of light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth" (Ephesians 5:9). All "love" is not equal. Love must be rooted in the law of God in order to prevail. Love wins ... if it emanates from God's love. Because of love we are called upon to expose the fruitless deeds of darkness (Ephesians 5:10).

No matter what the political climate we can always demonstrate God’s love through our actions and our speech. We are admonished in Ephesians 5:19-20 to speak to one another with psalms, hymns and songs from the Spirit, always giving thanks to God the Father. We are to be filled with the Spirit and be knowledgeable of what the Lord’s will is as the days are evil. Each day there are so many opportunities to give encouraging words, give a helping hand, perform acts of charity, or uplift the poor. Repeatedly we are admonished in the Word not to forget the poor!

Let us live as children of light and the nations will come to our light. Maybe next month I will write about Isaiah 61 as this chapter describes our purpose and calling!

Please keep us in prayer

Dan and I feel compelled to travel, despite the growing cases of COVID. Starting November 12 we will be on the road (or sky) for a month. Please look at our itinerary plans below. God’s love for his people motivates us to go forward. Please pray that we would have the appropriate word of encouragement for each congregation and their leadership team. Shepherding a flock at this time is not easy. There are packs of wolves lurking around creating fear, confusion and division. The enemy knows that if he can cause division we will be more vulnerable to his purposes of deception, distraction and destruction. Please pray that no weapon formed against us will prosper and that we would be led by the Spirit and not fear. We so appreciate your love and prayers. We feel upheld by them ... really.

Please continue to pray for Ben and Lorena and their family as they begin to shepherd Tikkun America in the midst of this present crisis. Pray against discouragement as so many plans are being thwarted because of the COVID, not just in their ministry, but in those to whom they minister. We all need to be encouraged and strengthened.

Ben and Lorena led the Tikkun America Southeast Leaders Gathering in Nov.
One of many Zoom prayer meetings with international Leaders.

I am a founding member of the International Coalition of Apostolic Leaders. This worldwide network was forced to have its conference by Zoom this year.  It was the most amazing international gathering of senior leaders from countries including India, Siri Lanka, Singapore, Brazil, Central America, Argentina, Mexico, Africa, Europe and North America. These are senior leaders, not the egocentric types you read about by critics. Many are not media famous, but they represent untold thousands of churches. The presentations were so encouraging -- the heart for John 17 unity, love among us and the progress of the Kingdom in these many lands. We prayed together regarding the challenges of persecution and bloodshed in the progress of sharing the Gospel.  Over the years, I have sought to influence Jewish concerns and was encouraged to hear more and more speak with passion about Israel. For my session, I presented the paper, Affirmations and Mistakes, A Call to Humility, Purity, and Integrity for Fivefold Leaders, a document that outlines biblical standards of integrity and notes some areas where the charismatic movement has missed it. I urge you to read it on the web site ifli.co. It is the product of a broad gathering of international leaders by Zoom hosted earlier this year.

Covenant Partners
We encourage you to become a full covenant partner of Restoration form Zion  Our partners commit to prayer and regular giving (monthly is so helpful), so that our work outside the United States can be carried on.  The work of mentoring leaders, travelling to bring alignment to Messianic Jews and the streams of the Church, and helping to strengthen congregations is only possible because of those who regularly support us.  We ask that you would pray and ask the Spirit to show you if you are to become one of our Covenant Partners.  Then do let us know.

Restoration From Zion is the International apostolic and equipping ministry of Daniel and Patricia Juster based in Jerusalem and Benjamin and Lorena Juster in the United States. The ministry purposes to form solid networks of leaders around the world to partner towards the restoration of five-fold ministry (Eph. 4:11-13), building up the body so that we can all advance the unity of faith for Israel and the Church.

Restoration From Zion is a ministry under the apostolic covering of Tikkun Global, a family of several apostolic ministries led by leaders with deep historic covenant relationships and mutual accountability. In addition to many years of fruitful service in the Kingdom of God, the Tikkun International Board of Directors has had years of proven integrity in managing funds together and in each of their respective ministries. This includes audits, disclosure, and low administrative cost percentages that reflect our high standards of efficiency. For more information about Tikkun, please visit www.tikkun.tv.

I want to encourage all of you who receive our personal letter to sign up for Daniel Juster’s Official Page on Facebook.  You will receive many more updates and comments on immediate happenings, both in the news and in ministry. All our books and reviews are also listed on this page. Though I do browse through the comments on this page, there are far too many for personal responses, but I appreciate being able to keep you updated and know of your comments.
We want to thank you so much for your consistent support for our transition to Restoration from Zion, our ministry name as we continue to support all the work done in connection with the name Tikkun. With your generous support, we are succeeding!
