Children performing their masterpieces
"If we believe in the physical and spiritual restoration of Israel, we must also believe in its cultural restoration."

It is wonderful being able to witness how God has blessed Keshet Tslilim (Rainbow of Sounds). Seven years ago, we started a small music and art school with a simple goal. "If we believe in the physical and spiritual restoration of Israel, we must also believe in its cultural restoration." Today we reap the benefits. The once small school now has more than 120 students enrolled.

Mid December we celebrated Hanukah (Festival of Lights). A dinner was put together for one of our outreach programs, Holocaust survivors. We shared a meal together and lit the candles on the Hanukkiah (menorah). The students from Keshet Tslilim put together a live performance. It was a beautiful evening to celebrate as one big family.

During Hanukah children all over the country are home for vacation while their parents are still at work. Return to Zion (Shavei Tzion), with the help of the Keshet Tslilim staff, organized day activities for children of new immigrants.

Last week the students had a concert. Each child climbed to the stage on their turn and performed their masterpieces. They played before their teachers and parents. The faces around the room were full of joy and pride.

With all that they learn, they are also given the opportunity to give back. The students are now preparing for an upcoming performance. This one will be held in an elderly home.

It is truly a blessing watching these children grow. They all continue to learn and grow artistically and musically. Click here to watch a short video about the school.
